Bacon Cheeseburger Pinwheels

- 8 oz tube crescent dough sheet (or use crescent rolls and pinch the seams together https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pillsbury-Recipe-Creations-Crescent-8-oz/10813629?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1100&from=/search
- 3/4 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup real bacon pieces
- 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Dice the onion.
- Then add the ground beef, diced onion, garlic, salt and pepper to a medium skillet, and heat over medium heat, breaking the meat up as it cooks, until no longer pink. Drain grease if needed.
- Open the can of crescent sheet, then unroll onto a large cutting board.
- Layer your cheese bacon pieces and ground beef mixture.
- Start from one end, and tightly roll the dough into itself, until it meets the other end.
- Cut into 12 sections, then arrange those sections flat on a baking sheet.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes, until golden.
- Serve with ketchup or your favorite burger sauce.
