Ingredients Needed:

  • Refrigerated sugar cookie dough (the pre-portioned kind for ultimate convenience)
  • Vanilla frosting
  • Pastel M&M’s (Easter blend for those pretty spring colors)
  • Bunny Mix Sprinkles (for extra Easter magic)

How to Make M&M’s Easter Sugar Cookies

Preheat & Prep: Set your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Bake the Cookies: Arrange the cookie dough pieces on the sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between them. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges just start to turn golden.

Cool Completely: Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frost & Decorate: Once the cookies are fully cooled, spread a smooth layer of vanilla frosting on each one.

Make the Bunny Ears: Place one M&M in the center of each cookie. Then, position two matching M&M’s above it, sideways, to create little bunny ears.

Add Sprinkles: Finish them off with a generous shake of bunny-themed sprinkles for that extra festive touch!

Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with extra bacon crumbles, paprika, or a sprinkle of chives for an elegant touch.

Helpful Tips

Easy Frosting Hack: If your frosting is too thick, microwave it for about 5 seconds to make spreading easier.

Piping Bag Option: For a super clean look, pipe the frosting onto the cookies instead of spreading it with a knife.

Get the Kiddos Involved: Let kids pick their favorite M&M colors and decorate their own cookies—it’s an easy, mess-free Easter activity!

Other Variations:

Chocolate Lovers’ Version: Swap vanilla frosting for chocolate frosting and use regular M&M’s for a fun twist.

Lemon Sugar Cookies: Use lemon-flavored frosting for a bright, zesty variation.

Rainbow Bunny Ears: Mix and match M&M colors for a multi-colored bunny ear effect.

Easter Egg Cookies: Instead of bunny ears, arrange M&Ms in an oval shape to look like little Easter eggs!

These M&M’s Easter Sugar Cookies are the easiest way to bring some springtime sweetness to your celebration. Whether you’re making them for an Easter party, a family gathering, or just because, they’re guaranteed to be a hit!
