Easy Halloween Crafts You Can Actually Do
17 totally awesome, easy and fun Halloween crafts to do with your kids this October!
I LOVE this craft. Why? It's no fail. Like seriously, you cannot mess this up! And I've messed up many a craft in my day. The materials are simple, you probably have them on hand. If you don't have black paint, use a black marker! You can even color some paper black if you don't have black construction paper. OR make a brand new rainbow spider. Don't let the black deter you ?
Paper Bag Monster Puppets require paper bags, acrylic paint, colored card stock paper, scissors, markers, circle punches, glue and a big dash of creativity! There's a lot of things you can switch out if you don't have it- like the cardstock paper, just use construction paper if you don't have that. These are super cute and fun to make!
Guys. This craft is good for ANYONE who isn't crafty. Pinkie swear! All you need is aluminum foil, black paper, googly eyes and tape. Your kids will love crunching up the foil and seeing their cute spider come to life!
This craft requires a little bit more patience, cutting and glueing but comes together fairly quickly. You'll need craft sticks, construction paper, scissors, glue, marker, googly eyes. Perfect for 3-5 year olds!
Coffee Filter Ghost Lollipops only require rounded lollipops, coffee filters, small rubber bands, thin ribbon and a black sharpie. This craft is not only fun for kids to make but also eat! You can also use them for classroom treats!
These bats are so cute and don't take a lot of work. There is a printable bat template so you don't have to draw the wings- major bonus points! For this craft you will need wooden spoons, construction paper, googly eyes, paint, tape and scrap white paper. Allow time for paint drying!
No cutting, no glueing, no painting- oh my! Truly, this is the easiest Pumpkin craft! And yet, still oddly satisfying to do.
You'll need craft foam sheets, magnets, clothespins, black paint, paint brush, glue, scissors and googly eyes for these Clothespin Bats. You can skip the magnets if you don't care about putting it on the fridge!
These Pom Pom Popper Ghosts are ridiculously cute and will provide lots of entertainment! You'll need paper cups, balloons, double sided tape, electrical tape, white card stock, sharpie, pom poms, a sharp knife and scissors. We've had good luck using mini marshmallows in place of pom poms 🙂
Are your kids obsessed with tracing their hands or feet? Mine are. This craft is great for getting your kids involved! You'll need black paper, scissors, pencil, white or silver gel pen, wiggle and glue.
All you need for this Puffy Ghost Craft is white paper, black paper, cotton balls, glue and scissors! Your kids will love glueing the cotton balls on... who else's kids are super enthralled with glue??
This might require a bit of pre-planning to make sure you have the right ingredients. You will need Elmer's white glue, unscented shaving cream, orange food coloring, jar, black construction paper, scissors, saline solution and baking soda. You can add pumpkin scent to take it to the next level!
Jack 'O' Lantern's with glowing noses. So cute! You will need white paper cups, orange paint and paint brush, flameless tealights, pencil, black marker, craft knife, craft stick, green pipe cleaner and scissors. These don't require too much work and are the perfect alternative to carving pumpkins!
Ever wonder what the hell to do with the toilet paper roll when you're done with it? (other than throw it in the trash?)
Luckily you had kids and found out the ideas are ENDLESS!
You'll need the rolls, paint, construction paper, googly eyes, cardstock and a sharpie!
If your kids are younger, you may have to do the drawing for the accessories.
For Paint Splat Witch's Cauldrons, you may have to hit up a dollar store to get some foam cauldrons and puffy craft paint! Worth it, definitely worth it. You'll also need white cardstock, scissors, school glue and baby wipes. The rhinestones and glitter are optional- are they though?
The Ghost Blow Straw Craft is fun but be prepared if you have a 2 or 3 year old- I mean come on, they get to blow paint through a straw- it's gonna get a bit messy!
You'll need googly eyes, black cardstock or construction paper, black marker, straw and a pipette (or spoon).
Your kids will have a blast with this one and there is minimal work for you mom or dad!
Scissor, glue, googly eyes, construction paper and some mad folding skill are all that's required for this craft! Get your kids to help with the folding, it's fun for them!
Who doesn't love a successful slime recipe? The creators of Witch's Slime have got you covered. They've tested and have awesome recommendations as to what ingredients work the best. You'll need Elmers white glue, shaving cream, baking soda, food coloring and saline solution for a successful Witch's slime.
