Parable of the Lost Sheep Craft Activities
The little ones will have so much fun gluing cheerios to the free template! This activity goes with the parable of the lost sheep. She also has several other crafts for this age group, all on one page..
Love Craft for Preschoolers
Toddlers will get a little messy as they die their paper with shaving cream. There is a heart that is glued in the middle that goes along with the verse of John 3:16. We all know this story and how much it means, so not only an important lesson is being learned, but they have fun at the same time.
Noah’s Ark Paper Craft
The story of Noah and the animals is always such a fun one to go through with kids because most of them love the idea of the animals being on the ark. This craft is really simple. You’ll need stickers, scissors, glue, and construction paper. If you are using this in a classroom setting, you can pre-cut the ark pieces to make things go a little faster.
Simple Cross Craft
You can pair the popsicle crosses with just about any story from the Bible. Once they glue the sticks together, they will line buttons across each one for a simple and easy activity.
Daniel And The Lion’s Den Preschool Craft & Lesson
As the kids learn to trust in God, no matter what the situation may be, they will love making the paper plate lions. You can have them paint or color the plates. For the mane, simply snip the sides in small increments.
Jonah and the Big Fish Paper Plate Craft
When you share Jonah and the whale with your little ones, prepare for them to be shocked. This story always causes amazement, especially when they make their paper plate whales and imagine that they were in the same scenario. Coming out of the mouth is a popsicle stick with a paper stick figure that they can draw themselves.
Esther and the King Bible Craft
They create the crowns from foam, and Esther’s will have yarn hair. This craft may take a little longer unless you pre make the crowns ahead of time. Toddlers will get to decorate with jewels and draw the faces on their puppets.
You Are a Masterpiece
I love this canvas idea! The options are endless because they can decorate and paint anyway they would like. This idea comes from the book of Ephesians, but could really go with any Bible story.
This Little Light of Mine
These little candles are super cute! Made with different colored construction paper and glitter, all while learning in the book of Matthew. Once they are finished making the actual candles, glue them to a popsicle stick so they can hold on to them.
Stained Glass Cross
These are very similar to sun catcher crafts, if you have ever created those. You cut out a piece of paper into the shape of a cross. Repeat that same process except with contact paper. Then kids will glue tissue paper squares on the sticky side. They look so beautiful hanging in the window.
Taming the Tongue Bible Craft
The main supply you’ll need to make these are paper and lunch bags. While it is such an important lesson that is taught in the book of James, toddlers will get a kick at how long the tongue is. Then they will draw the faces on with crayons or markers.
David and Goliath Slingshot Craft
You don’t have to worry because toddlers will not actually be making a real slingshot. But they still have fun making a look alike out of popsicle sticks, paper, and pipe cleaners. This is one of the funner activities I have seen for this story.
Bible Craft For The Letter Z- Zacchaeus In A Tree
This learning craft is so cute and incorporates the letter Z at the same time. The tree is made of regular paper, with green tissue paper for the top of the tree. Toddlers will draw Zacchaeus themselves, but of course high in the air.
Feeding The 5,000
You won’t need hardly any supplies for this activity. Just download their free basket and fish template. Then you can cut them out and toddlers can color them. This would be a great Sunday school craft or one in the classroom, since it’s easy and not messy.
Cupcake Liner Apple Tree Craft
Even though this post doesn’t talk about a bible lesson itself, I love the idea of pairing it with the story of Adam and Eve. In the tutorial she used green cupcake liners, but you can always use white ones to give the kids a little extra time to color. Red pom-poms are used for the apples are just glued in place.
“Joy To The World” Fingerpaint Lights Christmas Craft For Kids
What a perfect craft to incorporate during the holiday season. Tell the Christmas story while making a very nice keepsake. She recommends using a canvas, but you could always have them fingerpaint the lights onto a sheet of paper instead.
Prophet Ezekiel Bible Craft for Kids
These pinwheels are so much fun to make! However, kids will need a little help from parents on this one, but nothing too hard. You will just need to hole punch in the correct place so when they fold them in, the pinwheels turn out correctly. Outside of that they will color each section and the final product will be on a plastic straw.
Even though understanding the Bible may seem tough to teach toddlers, these crafts will make it much easier! Even as an adult, I love going through these lessons because they are at such a simple level. Plus, crafting makes pretty much everything better, right?
